poundster.com is born
On 24 June 2007, we set off on our “trip of a lifetime”, a ten-nation adventure that will take us to Norway, the United Kingdom, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Egpyt, India and Nepal over a period of up to six months. Travelling with trusty Sony TX57 micro-laptop, digital SLR camera and a low quality web cam, we record our impressions of the journey. Meanwhile, Kate’s food blog Veggie Friendly takes a closer look at the vegetarian cuisine that we encounter along the way.
