boat cruise, turkey style

andrew and kate swimming from boat (kas)Day 31: Taking a three day trip on a Turkish sloop (so-called locally, a “Blue Cruise” or “Blue Voyage”) is one of the classic travel experiences for which many people come to Turkey. Crusing up the coast and stopping every now and then to enjoy a dip at a sheltered swimming spot is a great way to while away a few days.

Our boat trip from Kas was more of a budget option - a one day round trip to the Island of Kekova which was billed as being close to “sunken city” comprising Roman ruins which are now, well, underwater.
