our hut just south of dombas
Day 6: After a long day of hiking we drove down the road to Dombas where we stayed in a basic hut in a campground just south of Dombas. Unfortunately we must have been so tired that we didn’t even note down its name, and the basic receipt we got also shed no light on the mystery. We’re sending Tim back on a mission to identify the place later so that we our records are complete.
However, it was a great little place to overnight. With four bunk beds, an efficient heater, bar fridge, a single stove-top and a cupboard full of crockery and utensils, hut number seven was basic but had everything we needed. It was also surprisingly inexpensive at only 250 Kroner (about A$50). The only drawback was that the coin-operated hot water in the shower block was somewhat more “refreshing” than desired.
