hotel byron, nafplio, greece
Day 19: After a brief discussion, lasting all of 10 seconds, we decided to ditch our plan to camp and instead wandered up to the front door of the Hotel Byron in Nafplio to see if they had a room free. To our eternal gratitude, they did. Simple and tiny, but smack in the middle of the picturesque Old Town, our room was so comfortable compared to the two-person tent and pair of thermarests that would have been the alternative. Just a 2 minute walk from the main square and another minute to the harbour, it was a great find at short notice.
