Day 14: Kate and I debating at the Hill of the Pnyx, the meeting place of Athens’ Democratic Assembly in the 5th century BC, overlooking the Acropolis in Athens. Kate won.

The Acropolis is really something to see for the first time isn’t it…When I was there I couldn’t help thinking how awesome it would have looked to someone visiting for the first time soon after it was built. it would have seemed so impressive and clearly a home for the Gods…
