Speed limits were only loosely observed. 50 usually meant 70, 90 meant 100 and 120 appeared to allow people to drive as fast as they wished.

driving in athens
Day 15: No great surprises here, but driving in Athens was possibly one of the most difficult driving experiences in my life!
It wasn’t so much the fact that traffic drifts from lane to lane (I could handle that), but the complete lack of signposted directions out of the city.
