Santorini dogs: I snapped this photo in the late afternoon in Oia. I love the way that the setting sun lights up the curved surface on which the dogs are sleeping, utterly oblivious to the dramatic backdrop.

I took this photo around midday. Only when the sun is high in the sky can you capture the contrast between the bluest of blue skies and the whitewashed buildings below.
